"Networking", "coworking" and "lifestyle" groups charge members in excess of $500 annually to attend stiff meetings of sales people while exagerrating achievements over wine and oysters and caviar because they think it's classy. They meet at 1pm on a weekday because it gives them an excuse to leave the office early.
I don't care about your oysters and caviar. I cannot attend your mid-day meeting. I do not need your money.
Where are the people actually building the technology these sales-people so proudly tout? The people with dirt beneath their fingernails. I want to speak with the man designing UAV motors. The person writing the next revolutionary AI agent. People solving hard technical challenges. Leave your business development guy at the office.
It is time for us to be the change we wish to see. I am creating a simpler group. No fees, no membership applications. Show up and we can rant about our projects together.

Following a prolonged conversation on drone radar-spoofing last meeting I've been thinking about how similar techniques may be deployed in the space environment. There is very little literature regarding space-warfare and how commercial technologies plan to survive it.
